Surreality of the End

A view of my campsite when I was on Ubin. My tent was facing the sea, the wind was blowing in my face and the thunder clous loomed close. Pockets of light seeped through the thick clouds and my camera meter was jumping like crazy. I liked the idea of the wind in my face and the smell of sea spray. The crashing of the waves that rythmically pound against the walls of the blockade. Very refreshing.

Tired legs and battered bodies, I stood by the railings that separate me and the plunge into the sea, I held onto the camera and took this shot that will serve as a memory of my feelings to the moment.

Technicals

The sun was behind me and setting fast, so I had to shoot fairly quick. I bracketed and took at least five similar shots. Well, I aint pro yet..so I am not confident with bracketing three...well..heck. I got what i want in the end. I wished the sea was rougher, at least there was more dramatism to the whole scene, but i guess God is always fair. If He did esactly that, the drama in the sky would definitely be downplayed....
